So, I recently booked an impromptu stay while visiting family near Great Yarmouth. This accommodation turned out to be a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is quiet and just what you need for a quick getaway. The room was basic but clean-ideal for someone like me who just wanted a bed for a few nights. The owner, Hamza, was incredibly helpful, even answering my last-minute call on a Saturday morning with ease. I appreciated that he took the time to update the website for me. The room itself felt a bit outdated, and it really reminded me of a former residential home rather than a cozy B&B. The wet room shower was functional but had drainage issues, and I found the sink a touch dirty. Plus, let's be honest, I missed having breakfast included-especially when today's hotels often offer that! Luckily, the bed duvet was clean, so I at least had a comfy night's sleep. All in all, if you're just looking for a decent place with free parking and a no-smoking policy, it's worth a look, but set your expectations accordingly. Safe travels!
